YieldScope ("we," "our," or "us") publishes this Privacy Policy to describe how the YieldScope mobile application ("App") and website ("Site") handle information.

YieldScope is an information-comparison tool that aggregates publicly available yield data — bank deposit rates, bond coupons, and dividend yields — to help users compare products. We are not a licensed financial advisor, broker, or deposit-taking institution. We do not sell, recommend, or transact any financial product.

2. Summary

  • The App collects no personal data. No account, no login, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifiers.
  • Your watchlist is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.
  • The Site (this landing page) is a static marketing page that uses no cookies and no analytics.

3. Information We Collect

The App does not collect personal information. Specifically:

  • No name, email, phone number, or contact information.
  • No account credentials (the App has no login).
  • No financial information from you (we do not ask, store, or transmit any account numbers, balances, or trading history).
  • No identity-verification information.
  • No advertising identifiers (IDFA) or cross-app tracking data.
  • No analytics events, behavioural data, crash reports, or telemetry.

The App fetches public yield and rate information over HTTPS from our backend, which serves data aggregated from publicly available sources. These requests do not include any user-identifying information beyond what is inherent to a standard HTTPS request (your device's IP address is visible to network intermediaries, as with any internet connection).

4. Information Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following on your device only. None of it is transmitted to us:

  • Watchlist. Items you save to your watchlist are stored using your device's local preferences storage and remain on the device. Removing the App removes your watchlist.
  • App settings. Theme (light/dark) and language preferences are stored locally and not transmitted.

You can delete this data at any time by removing the App or by clearing the App's local storage in your device settings.

5. Third-Party Services

The App does not embed any third-party advertising, analytics, attribution, or tracking SDKs. The App is distributed via the Apple App Store; Apple's own privacy practices apply to the distribution and update process and are described at apple.com/legal/privacy.

Yield and rate data displayed in the App is sourced from public datasets and provider websites. The App does not redirect you to or share your information with these sources.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is rated 17+ on the App Store, reflecting the mature nature of financial information. The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us in error, please contact us.

7. Updates to This Policy

If we change our practices in a way that would cause the App to begin collecting information, we will update this Policy and announce the change in the App and on this page before the change takes effect. The current version is always available at landing.yieldscope.app/privacy.
